Intentional and authentic companies thrive in today’s society.

There are so many moving parts to any organization that it is sometimes difficult to keep focused and on point. Money is usually the bottom line with everything else taking a close second. The irony is that most of the discussions on business success hinge on the relationship between engaged employees and workplace culture in order to make more money.

Think about how all 2000 marbles, working in harmony and staying on track, can make music. Human capital is this way for any organization. If all individuals stay on track, then the organization hums along with more intentionally and authentically. The person cranking the machine exemplifies the leadership of the organization, working to keep everything moving forward the way it is supposed to move.

What does it mean to be intentional and authentic?

Intentional- You have looked at all the options, narrowed them down to a plan, and are now staying on the path that most aligns with the plan.

Authentic- Words and actions match as creativity and reality align.

Post challenge- Become more aware of your words and actions. Does what you say match what you do? Does what you say about people at all times match how you treat people? Do the commitments you make match what you actually complete? Do you find that you build trust within the organization when words and actions match more frequently?
